Watch for Centralized Access to Illinois Facility Statements and Reports Through Availity® Essentials

Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, Illinois Facility Statements and Reports will be available exclusively through the Provider Correspondence Viewer within Availity Essentials. This enhancement gives you a centralized, secure location to view, access, download and retain these reports electronically.
As of Jan. 1, 2027, Illinois Facility Statements and Reports will only be available using the PCV within Availity and will no longer be distributed through any other delivery channels.
Illinois Facility Statements and Reports include:
- Claim experience reports
- Invoice letter reports
- Uniform Payment Program statement reports
- Maximum Reimbursable Cost Hospital Contract reports
Currently, in addition to Illinois Facility Statements and Reports, you can use the PCV to access and download:
- Prior authorization and referral approval and denial letters
- Risk Identification and Outreach information
- Average Discount Percentage
How to access the PCV
- Log in to Availity Essentials
- Select Payer Spaces from the navigation menu and choose BCBSIL
- Within Payer Spaces, go to the Applications tab and select Provider Correspondence Viewer
