BCBSIL Medical Policies

BCBSIL Medical Policies apply to members who have health insurance through BCBSIL, based on which type of plan you have.  

They may apply differently based on your location. Contact customer service if you need help understanding specific coverage information.

The following Medical Policies are available to you as resources:

• Active – The most current versions of policies.

• Pending – Policies that will go into effect later. 

• Draft – Policies that are under development or being updated.

Most Medical Policies may be changed, created or removed at any time to keep up with changes in health care.
